Baby Sleeping Door Signs
My cousin Abby asked me to create a mommy helping craft for her blog as a guest blogger. I was thinking about what I could make when I remembered a cute sign I had seen at a baby shower to hang on the door when your baby is sleeping.
Supplies
- Birch Plywood 1/8X6x12 in from Michaels
- Black, orange, yellow, white, brown Vinyl
- Blue paint
- Paint Brush
- Sure Cuts A Lot
- Cricut
- Transfer Tape
- Ribbon
- Mod Podge
Step By Step Process
2. While I waited for it to dry I created my design on Sure Cuts A Lot. I used Gisel Script font and the cute little chick is from BeaOriginal . She has several files you can download for free or purchase. It is a great site!
3. I used my cricut to cut out the vinyl and used transfer tape to place the vinyl on the dried board. That stuff is a BIG time saver!
4. I sealed the whole design with Mod Podge to keep it all glued down and added some ribbon to the back.

You can hang this sign on your front door or on the wall outside your precious ones room.
Variations and Tips
If you do not have a cutting machine or Sure Cuts A Lot you could make this with stamps, stickers, or hand painting it
I have made two other versions so far that are for sale on my Etsy Site AllyBallyDesigns

Little Clothespins
I MAY sign up for a craft fair this year and these are one of the items I am thinking about selling! They are so versatile I love them. They are also for sale on my Etsy Site .
You can use them with ribbon to hang cards or invites on the wall (also perfect for Holiday cards)
You can attach a magnet on the back and use them on the fridge for coupons, save the dates, etc

Memory Game pieces part 2
Here are some more necklaces. I tried to add some words and graphics to these and it proved challenging but I am getting the hang of it. Can't wait to do some more! These necklaces are on sale at my etsy site as well.

Memory Game Necklaces
I have been seeing a lot of project ideas for scrabble tile necklaces and I made them as party favors for my roommate Jen's bridal shower but I thought they were to small for some outfits and I wanted something bigger. I decided to use memory game pieces to make these necklaces! Many are for sale on my Etsy Site. The pieces are 2" 1/4 by 2"big. I have got more that are drying and I will be posting later this week :)

Cookie Sheet Calendar
This is my favorite project so far. I got this idea from Then She Made and I was excited to make it. She has step by step instructions on her site.
I made this calendar for my roommate and her husband as a wedding gift. Is was another project that I was surprised how long it took but it was really fun and I am happy with how it turned out.
I cut each piece out of cardboard and placed a magnet
on the back so it sticks to the cookie sheet
I used stickers, stamps, and accessories to make each day piece
Each month piece is unique but has similar qualities for consistency
Each month piece has has a magnet on the back and can be placed on the backside of the cookie sheet until needed. We are missing June because I gave that to them already before I finished the extra pieces :)
I made extra changeable pieces for each holiday (not all are pictured)
to also be stored on the back until needed.
